The General Organisation of Sea Ports commences seeking the outreach to young Bahrainis

The General Organisation of Sea Ports Maritime Education Fund (MEF) Advisory Committee has commenced seeking means of cooperation in order to start its outreach to young Bahrainis interested in maritime scholarships.

At its third meeting, the MEF Advisory Committee met with Dr. Cynthia Gessling, USA Higher Education Advisor at the Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Program (CPISP) to learn from her experiences and to identify possible areas of mutual cooperation in order to enhance student outreach.

MEF will provide scholarships to Bahraini students interested in pursuing maritime careers. An awareness programme will be launched in order to educate students about the opportunities and benefits of working in the field.
