Gears of War 3 available for pre-order in the UAE from 10 September 2011

Microsoft today announced that Gears of War 3, the spectacular conclusion to one of the most memorable and celebrated sagas in videogames, will be available for pre-order in the United Arab Emirates from 10th September 2011.

In addition, those who order their copy before the official launch date of 20 September will receive exclusive Gears of War 3 merchandise not available anywhere else in the region, as well as be in with a chance of winning tickets to the UAE launch event.

Fans in the region will be able to secure their copy by visiting participating outlets: Carrefour Online, Sharaf DG, Plug-In Electronics and Geekay Games, pre-ordering their copy, and obtaining a special secret code upon purchase. Anyone with a unique code will then be able to officially secure their copy of Gears of War 3 by registering at www.facebook.com/xbox360gulf to find out what merchandise they have won. Meanwhile, those who register will also be entered into a draw to attend Xbox 360’s exclusive, by invitation only, UAE Gears of War 3 launch party, scheduled to take place in Dubai.

Gears of War 3 will be available in a Standard Edition (ERP Dh249), and the Limited Edition, which will only be available through pre-order.
