Four Seasons Hotel Kuwait at Burj Alshaya Recognized as the “Kuwait’s Leading Luxury Hotel” at the World Travel Awards

The eagerly awaited World Travel Awards winners were announced on October 17, 2021, recognizing Four Seasons Hotel Kuwait at Burj Alshaya as the "Kuwait’s Leading Luxury Hotel” and the property’s Royal Suite as “Leading Hotel Suite”, delighting Didier Jardin, General Manager of the property since it opened in 2017.
“It is always an honour to receive an award, but to receive two recognitions at the same event gives me an extra sense of pride and achievement that my entire team can celebrate,” says Jardin, crediting his colleagues at the 284-key property in the heart of Kuwait City. “It is only through their devotion to maintaining the highest standards of guest experience, that we have awards such as these to celebrate,” he adds.
Established in 1993, the World Travel Awards brand is recognised globally as the ultimate hallmark of industry excellence. Each year, the organisation runs and governs a comprehensive programme across a range of awards developed to recognize the industry’s most vital sectors and product offerings. Awards are presented across three tiers: country, regional and world awards. The World awards are the top tier of the consumer-voted programme.
“Despite the on-going challenges faced by our industry, I am pleased to report that this year’s World Travel Awards programme saw record month-on-month voting numbers from the all-important tourism consumer,” explains Graham Cooke, Founder of the World Travel Awards. Instead of the traditional celebration gathering for the Middle East winners at a Gala Ceremony, Cooke invited all winners to all announce their success together virtually on October 17, 2021, dubbed “World Travel Awards Middle East Winners Day”.
A stunning example of architectural and design mastery, Four Seasons Hotel Kuwait at Burj Alshaya is in one of two towers within the Burj Alshaya complex, a stunning mixed-use development presenting a modern glass exterior laid out with mashrabiya latticework, an Arabic pattern dating from the Middle Ages.
Rising 21 storeys, the property presents a spacious setting for international travellers and locals alike, with 284 guest rooms including 67 suites, multiple restaurants and lounges, nearly 3,000 square metres (31,000 square feet) of function space, a luxury spa with indoor pool and guests-only fitness centre, an outdoor pool, as well as renowned Four Seasons service.
