flydubai Celebrates 50 Years of the UAE

Dubai-based flydubai is inviting you to share your favourite memories as the UAE approaches its 50th National Day.
The airline has launched a dedicated website comeflydubaiwithus.com asking citizens and residents to celebrate and share their most memorable experiences and moments in the UAE. Those who participate will have the opportunity to win one of 10 pairs of return Economy Class tickets to fly anywhere on the flydubai network.
Ghaith Al Ghaith, Chief Executive Officer at flydubai, commented on the launch of the website: “I am incredibly proud of the achievements that the nation has made over the past 50 years. These achievements would not be possible without the vision and leadership of the UAE and flydubai has always been committed to contributing to its success. I am excited to see the wonderful memories, moments and experiences that will be shared on the website in what is a very special year for us all.”
The UAE’s Golden Jubilee will see several events being held across the country including traditional firework displays and festivities. To mark the 50th anniversary of the UAE, flydubai has also unveiled a newly designed decal on its aircraft. The new design feature is inspired by the flydubai logo, while the circle breaks into colourful triangles which symbolise the celebration of this important milestone. flydubai’s two primary colours are incorporated in the design with the colour orange representing the sun and sand in the desert and the colour blue the sky and sea reflecting Dubai’s landscape and coastline.
