FGB celebrates partnership success with Manchester City FC players at an exclusive event

FGB, one of the leading banks in the UAE, held an exclusive event in Abu Dhabi yesterday, where a number of the bank’s customers were given the opportunity to meet with first team players Fernandinho, Aleksandar Kolarov, Joleon Lescott, James Milner and Richard Wright. The players were also greeted by FGB Executives, including CEO, André Sayegh and Head of Consumer Banking Group Hana Al Rostamani who congratulated them on the club’s recent English Premier League title victory and to mark their exhibition game with Al Ain Football Club on Thursday.

In addition, the event was held in celebration of the success of FGB and Manchester City FC’s co-branded credit card program in the UAE, which is the Club’s first ever official Credit Card launched exclusively for the passionate club and football fans in the UAE. FGB’s Manchester City Football Club Credit Card offers devoted fans a chance to get even closer to their favourite team and win exclusive experiences including an all-expenses paid trip to the UK and a chance to witness Manchester City team live in action, an exclusive tour of the Etihad stadium, a visit to the training ground to meet players of the MCFC First Team, complimentary kids coaching sessions at the Manchester City School of Football, Abu Dhabi and more.

This week has also seen FGB attend an award dinner at Abu Dhabi Sports Club, where the winners of the FIFA U-17 World Cup UAE 2013 were announced. FGB was an official national sponsor of the tournament, which was the largest football event to ever be hosted in the country.
