To promote the values of the Holy month of Ramadan, Etihad Guest, the award-winning loyalty program of Etihad Airways, is working with selected program partners in encouraging its members to donate Etihad Guest Miles to a number of local and international causes, to support those in need, and help make a difference and improve the lives of people less fortunate.

To assist members wishing to donate their miles to support a worthy cause, a special landing page has been established on the Etihad Guest website, which can be easily accessed by going to: http://www.etihadguest.com/donate.

A number of local and international charitable causes are listed on this page, including the Emirates Red Crescent, which is providing Iftar meals to the needy in the UAE during Ramadan for as little as 550 Etihad Guest Miles.

The UAE Zakat Fund is also included, and all Etihad Guest Miles donated by members to this fund will be used to support charities and humanitarian activities in the UAE and around the world.

This special campaign is also supported by a range of special Partner offers, enabling members to earn Etihad Guest Miles during the Ramadan and Eid period; including Sarky Jewellery, Hertz car rentals, gift purchases on Gilt.com, as well as hotel accommodation at Viceroy, Marriott and Rotana properties, plus many more.

Yasser Al Yousuf, Managing Director, Etihad Guest, said: We are delighted to take this opportunity of working closely with selected partners to provide our members with great offers and the opportunity to embrace the spirit of giving at this very special time.

“Humanitarian donations have proved to be incredibly popular with our members in the past, who are keen to contribute and provide much needed support and to benefit those in need.”

Etihad Guest members can also choose to redeem their miles for Eid gifts for their loved ones, with thousands of products and gift items being available on the Etihad Guest online Reward Shop.
