Etihad Airways has announced it will implement the latest in eSourcing technology and best practice to its procurement and supply departments. The airline has partnered with Tejari, a leading supply management technology vendor.

eSourcing will help Etihad Airways in streamlining its procurement spend, bringing in excellent visibility on how the airline manages its procurement activity  and will introduce some of the best-in-class practices to its supply team.

“Tejari is a world leader in supply management technologies and best practices, and they are the ideal partner to meet our needs,” said Mr. Adil Al Mulla, Etihad Airways’ Vice President, Procurement and Supply Management.

At the partnership signing ceremony, Mr. Suhail Al Banna, CEO of Tejari, added: “The airline industry is very competitive and demanding, and this is where our technology and best practices can make a significant difference by driving time, process and cost savings.

The agreement was signed in the presence of HE Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi, the Minister of Foreign Trade and HE Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Chairman of DP World.
