Equate Participates in Kuwait University’s Career Fair to Attract Future Engineers

In its endeavor to attract the best human capital for the continued growth of the industry and economy, EQUATE Petrochemical Company, a global producer of petrochemicals, continues supporting the professional development of students by participating in the 18^th Annual Career Fair at Kuwait’s University’s (KU) College of Engineering & Petroleum.

EQUATE’s Human Resources Talent & Performance Management Leader Hussain Al-Omran said, “EQUATE prides itself with having propelled its growth from Kuwait. Throughout the fair, EQUATE’s team will be interacting with students from different majors, such as chemical engineering, to attract, train, develop and qualify our most important elements which are the human resources. Our collaboration with KU includes a memorandum of understanding that covers academic, scientific and other fields, which are part of EQUATE’s Sustainability Strategy to support the New Kuwait 2035 Vision.”

During the first quarter of 2018, EQUATE recruited over 35 Kuwaiti fresh graduates from various majors. The company aims to increase its current 54% of local human resources.
