ENOC donates AED 1 million to the Tarahamu (Show Compassion) campaign

Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC), a wholly-owned entity of the Government of Dubai, donated AED 1 million towards the Tarahamu (Show Compassion) campaign to provide relief to refugees and victims of severe cold weather in the region.
This is in response to widespread appeals to the public and private sector initiated by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
Saeed Khoory, Chief Executive Officer of ENOC, said: “The UAE has led the way in showing compassion and providing relief all over the world. We are humbled when we see the ways in which people have opened up their hearts to donate to this worthy cause. The outpouring received for the Tarahumu campaign has in turn inspired several thousands more to give to the cause.”
“We hope ENOC’s contribution to the campaign will help provide vital aid to refugees in the region, who are enduring one of the worst snowstorms to hit the region.”
The Show Compassion campaign seeks to provide warmth and necessary supplies for over one million people affected by the extreme weather conditions, most notably by snowstorm Huda in refugee camps in Jordan, Lebanon, as well as Gaza and other Palestinian territories.
