Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) Lubricants, a part of ENOC Marketing that manufactures and markets a wide range of lubricants, highlighted the role that lubricants play in promoting energy efficiency at the ninth edition of the ICIS Middle East Base Oils & Lubricants Conference, held on October 9 to 10, 2012 at the Intercontinental Dubai Festival City.

ENOC Lubricants demonstrated its integrated approach in manufacturing a varied range of lubricants to meet the growing needs of the global market, with a focus on enhancing energy use efficiencies.

It showcased the capabilities of the ENOC Lubricants & Grease Manufacturing Plant (ELOMP) in Fujairah, inaugurated earlier this year, as it plays a key role in driving the company’s operations in the lubricants sector. The ELOMP Plant is one of the largest of its kind in the Middle East and Africa.

Scheduled for completion in 2014, the ELOMP Plant complements the government’s strategic plan to diversify the economy and leverage industries that have high potential for growth.

The ninth ICIS Middle East Base Oils & Lubricants brought key industry players and stakeholders together to share expertise and knowledge in utilising the lubricants market, provide a critical analysis on the current scenario and project the global economic outlook.
