ENOC offers MSc energy scholarships to UAE Nationals in collaboration with Heriot-Watt University

Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Heriot-Watt University in Dubai to offer MSc Energy scholarships to UAE Nationals for a post graduate programme. Through this agreement, eligible UAE Nationals within ENOC Group and in the UAE, will be able to achieve their career goals by obtaining a Master’s Degree in Energy from the university.
ENOC’s strong focus on human capital development continues to receive a boost as it develops programmes aimed at contributing to the pillar of ‘Competitive Knowledge Economy’ in the UAE National Agenda Vision 2021.
The programme will run for one year (12 months) for full-time students and for two years (24 months) for part-time students. Prospective candidates can start applying for the scholarship through www.scholarship.enoc.com.

The ENOC Energy Scholarship Programme will provide UAE Nationals with the opportunity to gain an international degree right here in Dubai while they acquire advanced skills applicable to regional energy requirements.”
An operational team of nine people from both ENOC and Heriot-Watt University Dubai Campus will form the judging panel responsible for reviewing the applications of the respective candidates applying for the ENOC Energy Scholarship Programme. Once the candidates list is finalized, panel members from ENOC, Dubai Supreme Council of Energy (DSCE), Heriot-Watt University and the Ministry of Energy (MoE) will select the candidates eligible to receive the scholarship.

As part of the scholarship, ENOC will cover the tuition fees of the MSc. Energy programme for four UAE Nationals; two of which will be ENOC employees and two external candidates.
