du CEO to give keynote address at second networking event in Emirates NBD Global Business Series

Emirates NBD, a leading bank in the region, announced today that the second networking session in the “Emirates NBD Global Business Series” will be held on November 21, 2012, at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Godolphin Ballroom, from 7:00-9:30 PM. The event is part of a series of 12 monthly networking sessions, giving SME owners an opportunity to meet icons of the UAE business community.

At the forthcoming event, Osman Sultan, Chief Executive Officer of Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company PJSC (du), will give a keynote address on how he took du from a start-up to one of the UAE’s most visible and respected companies.

The “Emirates NBD Global Business Series” is an initiative of The Intelligent SME magazine, with Dubai SME a strategic partner and Emirates NBD Business Banking as title sponsor.

Late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum signed the Charter of Incorporation of the National Bank of Dubai (NBD) which became the first National Bank established in Dubai and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
