Emirates Environmental Group honors Emarat for its efforts and continuous support

Emirates Environmental Group honored Emirates General Petroleum Corporation "Emarat" for its continuous support of the group's programs and activities which aim to protect and preserve a healthy pollution free environment in the United Arab Emirates.

H.H Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of DEWA, honored Mr. Mohammed bin Tameem, Retail Marketing Executive at the retail sales department of Emarat, who represented the Corporation on this occasion. Emirates Environmental Group acknowledged and honored other establishments that contributed in the activities in a special event organized by the Emirates Environmental Group at Dubai Knowledge Village, which was attended by a number of officials and media personnel. 

Mr. Hussain Kazim, Manager, Corporate Communications at Emarat, expressed his gratitude to Emirates Environmental Group for the valuable opportunities which were provided to the national corporations to participate in supporting and sponsoring the Group's different environment programs. He also praised the Group's hard and fruitful efforts in raising environmental awareness in the community, and its commitment to launching initiatives and programs that help in establishing a social recognition of the environmental issues in the UAE. 

Mr. Kazim further said that Emarat recognizes its responsibility towards the community and the environment, as it always stresses on the importance of cooperation and coordination between the governmental and private efforts, along with the efforts of the organizations and associations, to launch programs that encourage all the social sectors to preserve the safety of the environment and the natural sources, which will in turn be beneficial to the human kind and its health. 

He also added that Emarat seeks such opportunities in which it can participate in order to enhance its vital and important role, and its continuous efforts to protect the environment in which we live, and to keep it clean and healthy.
