British Pop Star Olly Murs announced as one of the headliners of Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival 2014

As preparations for the upcoming edition of the *Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival are being finalized, Chillout Productions announced today that Olly Murs will be among the eight main headline acts performing at the 12^th edition. The British pop star is set to perform on Valentine’s day, February 14^th 2014 at Festival Park, Dubai Festival City.

Olly Murs is one of the most successful pop stars nowadays. He rose to fame after finishing in second place on The X Factor U.K. in 2009. In just a span of three years, he has crafted three double platinum albums, which produced four No. 1 hit singles (Please Don’t Let Me Go, Heart Skips a Beat, Dance with Me Tonight and Troublemaker) and multiple Top 20 hits (Thinking of Me, Oh My Goodness, Army of Two and Dear Darlin’ just to name a few) selling 10 million records worldwide. Released last November 26, 2012, his album Right Place Right Time shot to the top of the albums chart immediately on release – giving him the biggest week one sales by a male artist in 2012. Selling over 250,000 tickets for his last sold-out UK Arena tour, Olly has become a fixture on the main stage of many festivals.

Olly Murs revealed that Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow would be helping him for his fourth album due next year. He said, “My fourth album could be my Thriller, the big one. I’m close to four million albums sold across the world. The fourth could tip me over.”
