Emarat launches tiers system for EmCan customer loyalty program

Emirates General Petroleum Corporation (Emarat) introduced a new tiers system of benefits to enhance its EmCan loyalty program. The announcement aims to improve the overall customer experience at Emarat service stations in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, providing EmCan users with a holistic rewarding experience.
The new system comprises bronze, silver, and gold categories, featuring an integrated portfolio of rewards and exclusive offers. Customers can progress between these categories by earning additional points, known as ‘EmCoins,’ through various purchasing transactions at Emarat stations. Notably, the system allows customers to maintain their membership category regardless of the number of points earned and used throughout the year.
The user journey starts with registration on the EmCan application, granting clients a bronze membership with a diverse range of benefits, offers, promotions, and opportunities to enter draws held periodically. Clients can advance to the silver category after obtaining 10,000 ‘EmCoins,’ allowing them to earn 1.5 times the regular points per liter of fuel. The gold category becomes accessible after exceeding 30,000 ‘EmCoins,’ offering users the opportunity to double their points when refueling and enjoy various exclusive benefits.
Ali Khalid bin Zayed Al Falasi, Senior Manager of Corporate Loyalty at Emirates General Petroleum Corporation (Emarat), said: “Launching the tiers system within the EmCan loyalty program is a strategic step aiming to provide an exceptional experience for customers that goes beyond refueling and retail operations. This move aims to provide customers with added value and allow them to obtain exclusive returns and benefits, which aligns with the organization’s plans to expand its efforts to further develop its customer-centric approach.
“Through the EmCan program, which was released last year, we are seeking to build direct interaction with millions of customers who visit Emarat stations in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. Our objective is to meet customer expectations for high quality services and products and offer easy access to a reliable source of energy and fuel products, in addition to daily retail items. We have strategic plans to develop the program and boost the customer experience, and we are beginning with the launch of this tiered system.”
Customers can earn points by scanning the QR code via the EmCan application during refueling, or shopping at (Emarat) stores, or when utilizing Lube Express and car wash services across Emarat’s network of service stations. The network comprises over 130 stations, all equipped with the highest standards and strategically distributed across key locations.
