Remarkable participation by Emarat at ADIPEC 2012

Emirates General Petroleum Corporation "Emarat", pavilion at the Abu Dhabi Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) this year, which was held at the Abu Dhabi Exhibitions Center under the patronage of HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President, witnessed significant interest from a wide range of visitors, including industry experts and heads of large corporations looking to build stronger relations with Emarat.

The pavilion attracted large numbers of visitors, who visited it to familiarize themselves with the latest services offered by the corporation in the field of oil and gas, and to recognize Emarat’s experience in that field.

Mr.Hussain Kazim, Manager, Corporate Communications at Emarat, considered that the participation of "Emarat" at the exhibition provided an excellent opportunity to meet with leaders of the petroleum industry, manufacturers and suppliers, producers and exploration companies and government agencies and quasi-government, as it allowed the exchange of experiences and views and to identify new investment opportunities in this important and vital sector.

He added that Emarat’s participation at this session of ADIPEC to reflect the civilized image and reputation of the UAE. He indicated that ADIPEC is billed today to be the third largest exhibition specializing in oil and gas sector in the world, both in terms of size and number of exhibitors. It is considered to be the largest of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa.

He stressed that the strong participation of "Emarat" asserted its role in the growing marketing and distribution of petroleum products and related services sector in the UAE, pointing out that the exhibition provided an ideal opportunity to highlight the various activities carried out by the corporation and promote its services and products.

He indicated that the UAE is one of the largest producers and exporters of oil globally, and that events similar to "ADIPEC 2012", specializing in the oil and gas sectors, stress the importance of the role played by the UAE and Abu Dhabi in particular in the oil sector at the international level.

Kazim confirmed that since the beginnings of the oil industry, when the exploitation and proceeds of this product became vital in promoting the march towards civilization, reflects the insight of the pivotal role that can be played by this sector in advancing the development of the country, noting that it has played a key role in the overall development in Abu Dhabi and the UAE in general.
