EMAL hosts its second Recruitment Open Day in Al Samha
Emirates Aluminium (EMAL) based in Al Taweelah, will host its second Recruitment Open Day on the 24th of November in Al Samha (next to the Adnoc petrol Station) as a part of its on-going dialogue with neighbours as a positive contributor and employer for the immediate area and economy of the UAE.
EMAL representatives will be present to provide the local residents with updates on the progress of the landmark economic diversification project and to accept applications for over 200 vacancies at the smelter. The recruitment event for the local community living near the site is one of many EMAL initiatives to create more job opportunities while encouraging direct communication between the company and its neighbours. The event is a professional quest to recruit local talent and potential, in order to achieve the strategic goal of reinforcing UAE’s economy.
Saeed Fadhel Al Mazrooei, EMAL’s President and CEO, said: “As a major component of the 2030 Vision to move the economy the Emirates away from a reliance on oil and gas, EMAL is generating careers and opportunities for communities locally in the immediate area through employment and investment, nationally by encouraging downstream industry growth and revenue, and globally as a major new player and supplier of Emirati excellence to the world aluminium market.”
Those invited to apply for positions at EMAL include fresh graduates and experienced engineers with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, civil or chemical and holders of high school/below high school certificate or technical diplomas.
Al Mazrooei added: “EMAL is investing in today for the benefit of tomorrow, and our most valuable investment is people. As a key project of the Abu Dhabi leadership’s 2030 vision to diversify the economy of the Emirates, EMAL is committed to providing careers for Emiratis to ensure a brighter future for our nation.”
