Eight-year Old Emirati Is the Youngest Person to Interview One of the “Fathers of the Internet”

Today, a first interview of its kind was shown during the World Government Summit in Dubai. Eight-year old AlDhabi AlMheiri from the UAE is the youngest person in the world to interview Vint Cerf, Google’s Chief Internet Evangelist, also dubbed as "one of fathers of the internet". The interview was about the internet, how children can make the best use of it, how to mind its risks and challenges and how people of determination can better access it. The interview was aired today during the annual World Government Summit in Dubai, which brings together leaders in government and the private sector to discuss how they can harness technology and AI for the future.
During the fifteen minute interview, AlDhabi AlMheiri asked Vint Cerf about the creation of the internet and how it has evolved until today. int talked about his journey which as a research project in 1973. He also discussed his love for mathematics and chemistry during his school years, before moving to computer science, the subject of his PhD. He highlighted the role of education and how online tools like Google Search can empower learning. 
AlDhabi asked Vint how children can stay safe to which Vint talked about the importance of critical thinking when using the internet, especially at a young age and how parents have a significant role to play.
AlDhabi AlMheiri posed a question around how the internet can help people of determination and what children can do to help. In response, Vint explained how the internet enables the lives of people of determination by amplifying their ability to overcome challenges and how AI can play a role.
