EIDA to review unified e-form project

His Excellency Dr Engineer Ali Mohamad Al Khouri, Director General of the Emirates Identity Authority (EIDA) has instructed a review of the strategy for the unified e-form project with due consideration to the concept of integrated services among all organisations involved.
Addressing a meeting held to discuss the progress on the technological projects of the Emirates Identity Authority, His Excellency said that the e-form strategy should be modified to facilitate the application of a “unified procedure” across organisations in future.
The review process, however, should not interfere with the current functioning and service delivery of the organisations concerned, he added.
Al Khouri stressed the importance and critical nature of the unified e-form as a service point that will reflect positively on all stakeholders and departments concerned, thereby improving the quality and efficiency of services provided to the public.
His Excellency highlighted the need to hold workshops in the future in corporation with relevant ministries in order to educate all concerned on the technical aspects of the services provided under the unified e-form project.
Progress achieved in the electronic linkage of services as well as the work completed during the consultative phase and the results of preliminary meetings and workshops held with relevant institutions also came up for discussion during the meeting.
The meeting also discussed the nature of work planned in the next phase to electronically link the various institutions involved in updating data for the UAE population register.
