Eagle Hills Jordan Hosts Aqaba International Exhibition of Fine Arts at Saraya Aqaba

Eagle Hills Jordan, the leading real estate investment and development company in Jordan, hosted the Aqaba International Exhibition of Fine Arts at its sales center in Saraya Aqaba. Under the patronage of the Minister of Culture, Basma Al-Nsour, who was represented by the Secretary General of the ministry, Hazaa Albarari, and themed “Art in the Face of Terrorism and Extremism”, the exhibition was attended by a number of high-profile dignitaries that included the Governor of Aqaba, Hijazi Assaf.  More than 50 artists from 15 Arab debuted their artwork, which highlighted the important role that art plays in addressing critical issues faced in the region as well as internationally. 

Abdallah Al Fraihat, Executive Director of Operations at Eagle Hills Jordan, stated: “At Eagle Hills Jordan, we continuously seek to participate in and sponsor CSR opportunities that positively impact our communities, hence we are hosting this exhibition at one of our properties today.”  He continued: “We are pleased to host such a powerful art exhibition that addresses terrorism and extremism whilst highlighting the brighter future we all aspire for.” 

Commenting on the strategic decision to host the exhibition at Saraya Aqaba, Ali Krishan, Chairman of Ayla for Culture and Art said: “Saraya Aqaba was chosen to host this exhibition due to its strategic location in the heart of Aqaba that also captures the perfect blend of creativity and originality. It is the perfect venue to offer artists and intellectuals a platform to express their individuality and deliver their messages of love and peace to the entire world.”

Several artists at the exhibition showcased the art of graffiti while others held detailed discussions regarding the key messages and themes demonstrated through their art.  In addition to the exhibitors, many attendees expressed their interest to attend further similar exhibitions that reflect the rich Arab culture and intellect.
