DuPont to demonstrate efficiencies of IsoTherming Hydro processing Technology at Middle East Petrotech

DuPont will discuss the operational efficiencies of its breakthrough IsoTherming Hydroprocessing Technology at Middle East Petrotech 2012: The 8^th Middle East Refining and Petrochemicals Conference & Exhibition taking place from May 20 to 23, 2012 at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre in Manama, Bahrain.

IsoTherming Hydroprocessing Technology departs from conventional hydroprocessing  a chemical engineering process for removing sulphur from crude oil fractidupoons such as kerosene and diesel by using a novel liquid-full reaction system that eliminates the need for expensive recycle compressors and their associated equipment. Among the proven benefits of the DuPont Technology are less capital and operating costs, increased catalyst life, and configuration flexibility.

Andy Tyas, Regional Engineering Manager of DuPont’s Clean Technologies, will present a technical paper on IsoTherming^® technology at Petrotech. He will also be available to discuss the latest safety, reliability and performance improvements to DuPont’s STRATCO Sulphuric Acid Alkylation Technology, an alkylation process that has become a preferred technology for producing clean fuels. A DuPont booth will be strategically positioned at the event to showcase the company’s other advanced products and services.
