Dubai Wholesale City has published a statement on Commemoration Day in which Abdulla Belhoul, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Wholesale City said:

“Every year on November 30, the day that marks the martyrdom of the first Emirati soldier in 1971, we commemorate the unforgettable sacrifices of our fallen Emirati heroes and honor their loyalty to our beloved nation. The UAE will forever be grateful and never forget their ultimate sacrifice.

We come together on Commemoration Day to express our gratitude for the efforts of all our brave soldiers who demonstrate rare courage and conviction in safeguarding our nation’s sovereignty and solidarity.
