Dubai Properties Group brings the Ramadan spirit to its communities

Dubai Properties Group (DPG), a member of Dubai Holding, and the master developer of Business Bay, Dubailand and JBR, hosted a series of traditional Ramadan tent events across its different DPG communities during the holy month. The series of events was hosted in collaboration with The Architectural Heritage Society of the UAE to celebrate Ramadan as well as emphasise UAE traditions and culture.

DPG residents were able to commemorate local heritage in a dedicated tent that DPG set up in its various communities starting with Remraam on the 21^st of July, Layan on the 22^nd of July, Al Khail Gate on the 23^rd of July, Shorouq on the 24^th of July and ending with Ghoroob on the 25^th of July.

Hosting the event for a third year along with the heritage activities coordinator in The Architectural Heritage Society, DPG  hoped to reacquaint its communities with the UAE culture and customs by getting residents involved in different activities such as Henna designs, Arabic coffee and dates as well as authentic Emirati cooking that immersed them in a rich UAE inspired setting.

Sahar Al Ansari, Director of Real Estate Management at DPG, said: “We are very proud to have worked with Dubai Municipality Architectural Heritage Society to host this event and bring the Ramadan spirit into our DPG communities and celebrate this holy month with them. DPG will continue to engage in these types of community activities throughout the year.”

Speaking about the tent, Mr. Rashad Bukhash, Chairman of The Architectural Heritage Society commented: “Ramadan is a very important time of year when we can come together and celebrate and we are very happy to have collaborated with DPG for its traditional UAE tent for a third year.”

DPG employees donated their time and efforts to ensure the DPG Ramadan tent was a success for DPG communities.
