Dubai Maritime City Authority Celebrates Strategic Partners

The Dubai Maritime City Authority (DMCA) has today (Wednesday, January 10, 2018) held a ceremony to recognize the contributions of its strategic partners from both the public and private sectors in responding effectively to emergencies.Orient Planet PR & Marketing Communications
Amer Ali, Executive Director of the DMCA, commended the outstanding support of government entities and private companies in effectively acting on emergencies and the technical capabilities required to deal with such incidents. He said: “The DMCA is committed to enhancing emergency preparedness in line with international best practices in compliance with federal and local legislation in order to develop a secure, sustainable and diverse maritime community which enhances the competitiveness, inclusiveness and attractiveness of Dubai. We deeply appreciate, the outstanding role played by our public and private sector partners and their coordination and fruitful cooperation in uplifting Dubai’s maritime industry.”
Attendees agreed on the importance of coordination, integration and cooperation in further enhancing Dubai's competitive capabilities in addressing maritime emergencies and crises, based on advanced and innovative technologies and under the supervision of qualified human capital to ensure the highest standards of maritime safety.

The ceremony was attended by various representatives of DMCA’s strategic partners, including the Dubai Police, the Dubai Municipality, the Coast Guard, the Federal Transport Authority - Land and Maritime (FTA), Jebel Ali Port, Port Rashid, (GAC), Admiral Cargo Group, LOC Group, and other private sector companies involved in Dubai’s maritime sector.
