Reflecting its ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility, Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) recently organised a blood donation drive for its employees. The drive was held in coordination with the Dubai Health Authority’s Dubai Blood Donation Center (DBDC).

More than 65 DIB staff gave blood at a DBDC mobile donation unit, which was stationed outside the bank’s headquarters in Deira. This initiative was organised to encourage the bank’s staff to be responsible members of the community by engaging in social activities that will help those in need.

The DBDC collects blood to help a wide range of medical patients, including thalassemia patients, road accident and burn victims, cancer patients, women suffering maternity complications, and other health issues.
