Dubai Investments organises Blood Donation Camp

In line with its Corporate Social Responsibility [CSR] strategy, Dubai Investments PJSC [DI] – a leading investment company listed on the Dubai Financial Market, organised a Blood Donation Camp on Thursday.
Held at the company’s headquarters in Dubai Investments Park [DIP], in association with the Dubai Blood Donation Centre – Dubai Health Authority, the Blood Donation Camp received an overwhelming response from employees of various entities of Dubai Investments and across DIP and over 100 units of blood was collected.
Dubai Investments, marking its 20th anniversary this year, is committed to the cause of CSR, and has regularly undertaken a number of programs in this direction. This is the fourth consecutive year that Dubai Investments organised a Blood Donation Camp.
According to the DHA, one unit of blood can be separated into four individual components, potentially saving multiple lives. The Dubai Blood Donation Centre needs 250-300 units of all groups every day. It collects about 150-180 units of blood daily.
