Dubai Festival City Mall and Festival Plaza bring Eid Al Adha celebrations to life with entertainment-led experiences for families

Dubai Festival City Mall and Festival Plaza are set to welcome Eid Al Adha with a vibrant line-up of festive experiences designed to bring communities together in celebration. From roaming performances and gaming zones to cultural showcases and festive surprises, both destinations will offer memorable moments throughout the holiday period
At Dubai Festival City Mall, visitors can look forward to appearances by beloved Al Freej characters, lively mascot parades, and interactive entertainment, while Festival Plaza will host traditional Ayala performances, festive giveaways, and engaging activities for all ages. Together, the two destinations offer a joyful Eid experience for friends, families, and little ones to enjoy during the auspicious occasion.

Dubai Festival City Mall

Dubai Festival City Mall will offer a mix of character appearances, gaming concepts, rewards and roaming performances across the destination, including:

1.    Freej mascots - Characters from Freej, the popular Emirati animated series renowned for its local storytelling and beloved characters, will roam across the mall, bringing playful interactions and festive spirit to guests throughout the evening.

2.    Traditional Emirati performances – Traditional Emirati performers will bring UAE heritage to the Eid celebrations, offering guests a cultural showcase rooted in local traditions during their visit.

3.    Dana & Modhesh mascots - Dubai’s well-known mascots, Modesh and Dana, will make special appearances at the mall, bringing their uplifting and adventurous spirits to young guests and families as they celebrate the joy of Eid.

4.    Mascot parade – Starting from 4PM, the weekend mascot parade, featuring characters from participating retailers and attractions, will travel across the mall, bringing vibrant entertainment, music, and family-friendly energy throughout the evening.
