Dubai Customs and Dubai Police discuss further cooperation on skill investment

The HR Division at Dubai Customs received a delegation from Dubai Police, within their efforts to foster strategic partnerships with government entities.

The meeting aimed at fostering cooperation in investing the employees’ skills in the two organizations to further develop the work mechanisms and approaches. 

Mohammed Al Ghaffari, Executive Director, Human Resources, Finance and Administration Division, Ahmed Al-Housani, Senior Manager, Development and Training at the Customs Training Center, Khalid Al-Ali, Senior Manager, Learning and Development, Awadh Faraj-Allah, Senior Manager, Customs Training, and Asma Ahmed, Senior Manager, Training Program Management represented Dubai Customs in the meeting.

The Dubai Police delegation included Brigadier-General Ahmed Mohammed Mardas, Deputy Director of the General Training Department, Colonel Marwan Mohammed Sankal, Head of Dubai Aviation Security Center, Lieutenant-Colonel Sulaiman Al-Amri, Director of Program Development and Design Department, and Lieutenant Majdi Lahib, Head of Training Partnership Section. 

The two sides discussed aspects of joint cooperation in development and training, which were stipulated in prior agreements between Dubai Customs and Dubai Police. 

The visiting delegation highlighted the latest updates and developments to the talent investment program, which has to do with training employees and refining their skills and expertise.  

The meeting also focused on the procedures taken by the two sides concerning training including exchange of lecturers, development of training and launching new programs on joint government work. 

Commenting on the meeting, Al Ghaffari said; “These meetings help us develop our strategic relations with our partners to add value to our mutual work and activities, enhance corporate reputation and exchange of knowledge and expertise.”

Al Ghaffari applauded joint efforts in developing training programs to ensure an advanced and sustainable work environment in all aspects.
