Dubai Culture Extends ISEA2026 Open Call for Participation

Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) has extended the deadline for the open call for participation in the International Symposium on Electronic/Emerging Art 2026 (ISEA2026). The move aims to provide an opportunity for creatives, practitioners, thought leaders, artists, researchers, content creators, and specialists in the fields of digital arts to take part in the international symposium that Dubai will host from 10 to 19 April 2026, under the theme ‘ELYAH: Constellating Place, Data and Identity.’

Dubai Culture will accept submissions until 15 December. Eligible entries include performance proposals, exhibitions, artworks, screenings, research papers, demonstrations, and institutional presentations that respond to the symposium’s theme and pillars. A committee of experts and curators will review all proposals according to established artistic and technical criteria.

Applicants must submit original, well-documented work that reflects the symposium’s focus areas. All materials should be in English and include the required technical and logistical details. Entries can be made via: https://isea-2026.isea-international.org/.

ISEA2026 Dubai, organised by Dubai Culture in collaboration with Zayed University, will explore four main thematic pillars: ‘Charting Constellations,’ ‘Celestial Dialogues,’ ‘Eco–Tech Futures,’ and ‘Starlinked Worlds.’ The programme will include workshops, panel and dialogue sessions, networking events, and a range of creative showcases that bring together artists, researchers, and specialists in digital arts to exchange insights and help shape a global agenda for new forms of expression.

The symposium aims to spark innovation, provide a platform for emerging and established voices, encourage technological sustainability, and support the growth of Dubai’s cultural and creative industries, thereby strengthening the emirate’s role as a global centre for culture, an incubator for creativity, and a thriving hub for talent.
