Dubai Chamber organises Ramadan Festival for second year in a row

Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry is organising its second annual Ramadan Festival to honour and celebrate the Holy Month with all members of the community at Dubai World Trade Centre, from July 20 to August 20.
The month-long Dubai Chamber Ramadan offers Suhour business networking opportunities, as well as sporting and charity events for businesses, friends and families.
The Ramadan Festival comes in line with Dubai Chamber’s role of providing quality services to its stakeholders. The organisation is seeking to bring the business community together under one roof to enhance communication and help people make new contacts as well as strengthen old ties during the Holy Month.
H.E. Hamad Buamim, Director General, Dubai Chamber, said the idea behind hosting the Dubai Chamber Ramadan Festival was to provide a fitting platform for individuals and businesses to network and participate in health, fitness and charitable activities along with family and friends on the occasion of Ramadan.
He added that the Festival is part of Dubai Chamber’s commitment to represent, support and protect the interests of the business community in Dubai, while also ensuring the local community’s development and wellbeing during the Holy Month.
As part of its philanthropic activities during the Ramadan Festival, Dubai Chamber is once again joining hands with Sahar Shaikh to support the Adopt-A-Camp initiative, which works to improve the lives of labourers. Volunteers will collect items including food, blankets, mattresses, pots and pans and towels to be packaged up and distributed in Dubai’s labour camps.
With its aim to promote a culture of healthy living and foster professional relationships between different businesses, Dubai Chamber launched an indoor football and cricket sports league as part of the activities of Dubai Sports World from June 28 to August 3.
Dubai Chamber will also host its annual Ramadan Networking Suhour for representatives of the business community, and its annual staff Ramadan Suhour, during the Festival.
