Opening up new possibilities for the growing hospitality sector in the UAE, du successfully demonstrated iRiS personal valet, an innovative in-room application that promises a superior guest experience, reduce costs and maximize revenues at its stand at GITEX.

The core of the system delivers the application content to each in-room Apple iRiS iPad and allows the guest to access all the hotel’s facilities, offerings and information, as well as live news, detailed information, including maps of local attractions – e.g. restaurants. This gives the guest a greatly enhanced experience, whilst ensuring their stay at the hotel is more enjoyable; all this, is literally, at their fingertips.

In the back of house, the touch screen panels are located in key areas which will display guest requests, orders and information relevant to their stay. The staff can see, access and act upon this information – whilst also having the facility to interact with the guest room to send key messages, such as “Your taxi has arrived”.
