Today, du has announced that, as official platinum sponsor of the First Edition of the Fatima Bint Mubarak International Holy Quran Contest, du will be broadcasting the competition free-of-charge to du customers across the UAE, middle east and Europe on Nilesat, Arabsat and Hotbird satellites. Audiences at home will have the opportunity to watch the Contest on du View giving them the flexibility to watch the broadcasting on the device that suits their lifestyle best: whether mobile, tablet or TV.

The First Edition of the Fatima Bint Mubarak International Holy Quran Contest, sponsored by the Dubai government, is an annual award given to those who successfully memorise and recite the Holy Quran on live television. The Dubai International Holy Quran Award was established over two decades ago to encourage the Muslim youth to spread the Quranic values of peace and love by inspiring them to read and understand the Holy Quran.
