du has signed a strategic partnership agreement with The Sharjah Directorate of Town Planning and Survey, which aims to consolidate efforts to further develop telecommunications infrastructure and customer experience in Sharjah. The contract was signed by Engineer Saleh Bin Butti, Member of the Executive Council and Chairman of Directorate of Town Planning and Survey in Sharjah, and Fahad Al Hassawi, Chief Commercial Officer Human Resources and Shared Services officer, du, during a meeting held at the directorate.

Other attendees at the prestigious event included Ali bin Sheen from Sharjah Directorate of Town Planning and Survey; Hatem Bamatraf, Executive Vice President, Network Development, du; Ahmed Aburahima, Vice President, Government Relations, du, and Sultan Owais, Director, Government Relations (Northern Emirates), du.

A true cooperation between the private and governmental sector, this agreement enables both parties to work within a collaborative framework and share experiences as well as services which intend to better cater to Sharjah’s residents. The partnership will offer significant benefits to the residents of Sharjah, by facilitating du’s ongoing services in the emirate as well as further developing and reinforcing its overall presence across an array of telecommunications fronts. du will support (Sharjah Guide Map) as a golden sponsor.
