DPG hosts first installment of ‘Insights on Leadership Forum’

Dubai Properties Group, a member of Dubai Holding, recently held an ‘Insights on Leadership’ forum for DPG middle and senior management. The forum is part of DPG’s ongoing Corporate Academy programme offering comprehensive training and development programmes for employees and senior management. 

The forum was developed by DPG’s Corporate Academy team and was attended by Eng. Marwan Bin Ghalita, CEO of RERA (Real Estate Regularity Agency), as the key note speaker. It marks the first of a series of events that will be conducted regularly and is designed to create a platform for discussion between industry leaders and DPG management, enabling participants to share industry experience, benchmark best practice, discuss governing laws and analyse market direction and outlook. 

Speaking about the forum, DPG Group CEO Khalid Al Malik said: “The ‘Insights on Leadership’ forum received unprecedented interest internally, as it helps us better understand the evolving real estate industry, new rules and regulations and its future trends – all of which have had a major impact on our business. On behalf of DPG I would like to thank Eng. Marwan Bin Ghalita for lending us his expertise and insight, which has highlighted the importance of partnering with government organizations to learn from their experiences and better understand the industry in the future.” 

Engineer Marwan Bin Ghalita, CEO of RERA, commended the ‘Insights on Leadership’ forum for its role in supporting the real estate industry. He considers it to be a major step for the exchange of experiences, identifying best practices, discussing governing laws, analyzing market trends and expectations and promoting the principle of transparency in the real estate market. 

Engineer Bin Ghalita added: “Forums such as these are an excellent platform to engage those working in the real estate industry, and to facilitate the development and implementation of best practice processes. DPG has clearly demonstrated its commitment to the development of its people through this initiative.”
