DPG reports strong investor interest at Arabian Travel Market 2013

Dubai Properties Group (DPG), a member of Dubai Holding, reported strong interest from investors in its key destinations including DUBAILAND and The Walk at JBR during the recent ATM exhibition which attracted more than 17,000 industry professionals from around the world.

During the four day event, DPG announced significant enhancements to its flagship destination, The Walk at JBR. Designed to further improve the attractiveness of The Walk for residents, visitors and tourists, the enhancements will create connectivity points with future tram stops and provide a better visitor experience overall.  The popular visitor attraction, which had over 10 million visitors last year alone, was showcased on the stand to give visitors a true flavour of the Emirate’s popular beachfront destination offering a unique mix of shopping, outdoor cafés, retail and recreation. 

DPG’s entertainment and residential district of DUBAILAND also saw a number of announcements from third party developers which included City of Arabia’s ‘IMG Worlds of Adventure’; the largest indoor entertainment destination in the world. In addition, Akar Landscaping announced plans to expand its increasingly popular Miracle Garden project, which upon completion, will be home to the largest vertical garden ever created.

The DPG stand featured a number of DUBAILAND attractions including Global Village, MotorCity, Dubai Sports City, Dubai Outlet Mall, Al Sahra Desert Resort and Sustainable City.
