Dubai’s Expo 2020 yacht ‘true north’ flies the flag at DP World’s Caucedo Port
DP World Caucedo, the Dominican Republic’s primary port, has welcomed ”True North”, the 70-foot yacht that embarked on a circumnavigation of the globe last summer to raise awareness for the UAE’s bid to host the 2020 World Expo in Dubai.
A special reception at Caucedo was held for True North whose voyage reflects the UAE’s Expo bid theme of ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future’, and aligns with DP World’s programme for promoting the bid through its family of 30,000 people working in over 60 terminals worldwide.
