Downtown Rotana opens award-winning signature restaurant ‘Teatro Downtown’

Downtown Rotana, the newly-opened five-star hotel located right in the heart of Bahrain’s capital, recently launched its new signature outlet ‘Teatro Downtown’ in the presence of media representatives who were treated to an exclusive dinner of culinary delights from the restaurant’s award-winning menu.

‘Teatro Downtown’ takes centre stage as the hotel’s premiere restaurant venue offering an East-meets-West concept cuisine, embraced by warm design motifs and ultra-chic interiors. This is the third ‘Teatro’ in the region to be opened by the Rotana following the chain’s tremendous success in Dubai and Abu Dhabi reflected in the bagging of numerous awards over the years, the most recent being ‘Best International Restaurant 2015’ at the TimeOut Awards.

‘Teatro Downtown’ offers an exquisite array of authentic dishes inspired by five of the most well-known and popular cuisines – Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Italian and South East Asian. The restaurant adopts an East-meets-West approach with a melting pot of flavours that promise to take guests on a culinary journey across the globe. Distinctive in both flavours and setting, ‘Teatro Downtown’ features an extensive menu selection to suit even the most demanding of palates, spread across three separate areas comprising a trendy lounge, open-faced kitchens with full view of the Chefs in action, multiple food stations and a wide-ranging collection of beverages.
