The Community Development Authority (CDA) in Dubai has announced the launch of the Director General, H.E. Khaled Al Kamda’s personal Twitter account (@KhaledalKamda). The new account will allow H.E to interact directly with the public about pressing social issues and engage with CDA stakeholders and customers in open dialogue.

The twitter account is intended to strengthen channels of communication with stakeholders and the public, and to project CDA’s role in guiding and supporting social services in Dubai. The Director General’s twitter interaction will also attract valuable feedback on social service policies as well as CDA’s services and future plans.

"Social media plays a key role in fostering communication and provides a broad platform for direct engagement with all our stakeholders. The Twitter account will serve as a first point of interface with the public, for exchanging views and ideas,” said His Excellency Al Kamda.

Active engagement with organizations, professionals and beneficiaries in the social services domain is a major focus area for CDA. Recently, the authority launched an e-suggestion service to enhance communications with its clients on issues of interest to them.
