CTA unveils the Toyota Fortuner 2012 with a fresh new look

Central Trade and Auto Company (CTA), the exclusive dealer for Toyota, Lexus and Hino in the Kingdom, recently unveiled the upgraded Toyota Fortuner 2012 with a fresh modern design.

The 2012 Fortuner has undergone the first major design overhaul since the model was first introduced in 2005. The vehicle has a modern exterior design, combining both luxury and sports elements in its new look. Its spacious interior is notable for its three row seats, giving it room for eight passengers or the equivalent volume in baggage and cargo. The 2012 Fortuner retains its popular interior, while making improvements to the chassis and engine.

The 2.7-litre VVT-i (Variable Valve Timing with intelligence) engine now produces up to 170 horsepower at 5200 rpm. Impressively, it is able to generate 241 Nm of torque at 3800 rpm.

The Fortuner delivers a rich lineup of features that guarantee passenger comfort. The car is equipped with ABS brakes, interior chrome finish, dual zone A/C (front and rear), folding electric mirrors, parking sensors, remote power door locks, audio steering controls, and Ipod AUX. Additionally, the car is equipped with two airbags for driver and passenger, as well as many other advanced features.

The new Fortuner is currently available at CTA’s showroom on Mecca Street.
