Arabian Courtyard Hotel & Spa distributes iftar packs to taxi drivers

Arabian Courtyard Hotel & Spa, located in the heart of the ancient cultural district of Dubai, distributed free iftar meals to taxi drivers who are dropping off and picking up guests from the hotel.

A yearly initiative, the program was initiated by the property to show the true spirit of Ramadan and share their blessings especially to cab drivers who are diligently performing their duties and at the same time adhering to their religious obligations.

Habib Khan, General Manager, Arabian Courtyard Hotel & Spa and CEO Hospitality Division of Planet Group, said: “The holy month of Ramadan is a month of giving and sharing. We have been doing such activities to share the blessings that we received. The taxi drivers are our partners in promoting Dubai and our property to guests visiting the country and we commend them for their commitment to their jobs. They are always ready and willing to serve their customers even though they are fasting so in return, we prepared their iftar meals so they can break their fast during Ramadan while on the wheel”

This year, the target is to distribute 2000 iftar packs to the drivers daily who will come to the hotel from 1800 to 1930 to drop off guests.
