City Centre Rotana, Doha hosts farewell cocktail for Joseph Coubat
City Centre Rotana, Doha hosted a cocktail reception for outgoing General Manager Joseph Coubat who will now move forward in Rotana as the Area Vice President for Qatar, Lebanon, Kuwait, Turkey, Congo and Syria and General Manager of Gefinor Rotana Beirut in Lebanon.
The event which was held at the hotel’s gallery was attended by important business partners, associates, clients as well as respected ambassadors and consul generals. It was a business gathering that provided the venue for all the attendees to bid farewell, thank and wish Joseph Coubat all the best after being the leader behind City Centre Rotana for the past nine years, from its pre-opening phase to its current position as a new, successfully operating five star hotel in West Bay, Doha. Coubat also took the opportunity to introduce the hotel’s new general manager, Martin Kendall.
Commenting on the event, Coubat remarked “It is quite an emotional experience to leave a highly professional team who made a dream come true. Their passion and dedication is visible in the quality of services we provide today. City Centre Rotana started showcasing a new trend in the hospitality industry in Qatar where quality is of utmost and top priority.”
“I am confident that I have made my mark in the hotel and my strong team will continue to drive efforts towards guest satisfaction and further success of the hotel moving forward. I will still be overseeing the property as my area includes Qatar, hence it is not a farewell, but a celebration of change,” he concluded.
