Capital Club celebrates Shakespeare with a Masquerade Ball

This coming Friday, mystery and drama will be at the order of the day when The Capital Club, Dubai’s premier private business club and member of the ENSHAA group of companies, welcomes Members and their guests for their lavish Shakespeare themed Masquerade Ball.

Dubai’s elite are dusting off their most magnificent masks and brushing up on their thee’s and thou’s as they get ready to attend an evening dedicated to celebrating all things masked... Speaking about the event, Capital Club General Manager Emma Cullen said, “When we first started discussing possible themes for the Masquerade Ball, Shakespeare immediately sprang to mind. No other playwright or poet has made a more lasting impression on the collective consciousness. His works are timeless and the perfect embodiment of the wonderment and mystique that is a masquerade. The Capital Club’s social events, such as our annual Anniversary Celebration, are some of the biggest highlights on the Dubai calendar and we expect the Masquerade Ball to be yet another exceptional occasion.”

In an ode to the ‘Bard’, the evening will take on a distinctly thespian air with The Club being transformed into a tribute to Shakespeare’s illustrious Globe Theatre. Guests can look forward to a rich line up of entertainment that will include a jester, jugglers, and the beautiful and the talented Cara Jane Roberts and Andrea Leigh roaming the halls and paying homage to the very best of Shakespeare’s timeless prose. DJ Richard will also be on hand to ensure that the evening’s revelries are kept up to the beat.
