Capital Club makes generous donation to Al Noor Training centre

In it’s continuous endeavour to fulfil its Corporate Social Responsibility of serving and giving back to the community, the Capital Club Dubai, the region’s premier private business club and a member of the ENSHAA group of companies, recently made a generous donation to Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs, Dubai.

In a ceremony held at the centre, Capital Club Dubai General Manager Bill Loveday presented a cheque worth Dhs 9,000 to Isphana Al Khatib, director of the centre – a contribution that has taken Capital Club’s association with Al Noor to another level.

Earlier, Loveday took a tour of the centre and was impressed by the facilities offered by the institution, which contains all the necessary modern facilities to support special needs education.

Commenting on the association, Loveday said, “The Capital Club is proud to partner with organisations like Al Noor Training centre, and we will continue to support the selfless and significant work done by the centre in future,” he said.

Expressing gratitude to the club for its generous support, Al Khatib said that not only are such partnerships vital in helping the centre meet its expenses, but also in offering moral support that encourages the centre to continue its journey and raise awareness in the society.

“Donations like these help us to cover half of the centre’s expenses, while the remaining half is met by the guardians,” she added.

The centre currently serves 270 children with special needs from different nationalities, and can accommodate up to 300 children at its new purpose-built facility.
