A Special FRIENDS theme show on Burj Khalifa’s LED screen to coincide with The Dubai Fountain performance on Sept. 22

The signature orange couch that saw your favourite FRIENDS stars bonding over the years has arrived in Dubai and it’s one of the few global destinations celebrating this sentimental anniversary!

As the series marks its 25th anniversary, Warner Bros US in collaboration is presenting the Central Perk Café set at two locations, first by the Waterfall Atrium in The Dubai Mall from Sept. 15 and later moved outdoors on a floatie right on The Dubai Fountain against the backdrop of Burj Khalifa where it will stay from Sept. 22 for a period of one month.

Fans of FRIENDS can now celebrate with an Instagram-able moment on the Central Park Café set, which will serve as the perfect backdrop for the fans next selfie or groupie, with Burj Khalifa towering high in the picture. The Friends Central Perk Cafe set will include the signature orange couch, the red rug, coffee table and other accessories as seen in the series!

On Sept. 22, FRIENDS started its marathon run on television – and continues to regale hundreds of thousands of people – 25 years ago. Burj Khalifa will come to life with a specially themed FRIENDS LED show at 8:30pm and again at 9:30pm. The signature theme song of FRIENDS – ‘I’ll Be There for You’ by the American duo The Rembrandts will be choreographed for a sync performance on The Dubai Fountain with the Burj Khalifa LED show.

With this, Burj Khalifa joins other landmarks such as the Empire State Building, The London Eye, and Madrid Royal Palace, among others, in welcoming the Central Perk Café, once again celebrating the good cheer that FRIENDS have unleashed 25 years ago!
