Burgan Bank Sponsors Nexus 2024, Kuwait’s Biggest Technology and Innovation Event

Burgan Bank announced its participation in Kuwait’s biggest technology and innovation event, Nexus 2024, as a platinum sponsor. The event is scheduled to take place on 5-7 December at The Arena Kuwait under the patronage of H.E. the Minister of State for Communication Affairs Omar Al-Omar, with an expected turnout of 30,000 visitors and 60 leading companies from diverse sectors. Burgan Bank’s sponsorship is an extension of its efforts to share the latest developments in its digital transformation and innovation journey with the market’s most impactful institutions, in addition to showcasing its digital initiatives’ alignment with the Kuwait Vision 2035.

Meanwhile, the startup hub will gather 100 emerging startups competing for six mega prizes that amount to KD 30,000 awarded to the most innovative and groundbreaking ideas, including the grand prize of KD 10,000. In addition, a number of tech talks and workshops will be delivered by industry gurus, covering a wide spectrum of timely topics about the future of sustainable and inclusive technology, from artificial intelligence (AI) to the internet of things (IoT), cybersecurity, the role of women in the tech industry, fintech, gaming, and so much more.
As the Bank continues leveraging tech in the digital transformation era, Burgan will be delivering several workshops about the latest technology trends in banking, data protection, and the future of digital banking as part of its contribution to the success of Nexus.
