Burgan Bank Employees Successfully Complete ’Bee Engaged ’Workshop by Knowledge Club

Continuing on its long-term commitment to employee development and skills building, Burgan Bank concluded its participation in the “Bee Engaged” workshop by leading knowledge transfer platform in the Middle East and North Africa region, Knowledge Club. The workshop that took place between 30-31 October aimed to enhance employee engagement, productivity and overall job satisfaction. Knowledge Club is an innovative platform that transforms the concept of educational talks into an unconventional experience. Participants also benefit from wide-ranging exposure to key decision-makers from diverse industries in the region, featuring real–life case studies and new best practices.
‘Bee Engaged’, a story based on bees, presented itself as the perfect platform to convey how a leader must embrace employee engagement to help implement change initiatives, improve performance and ultimately its bottom line results. Participants learnt through real life scenarios using the P-O-L-L-ENTM model of leaders and employee engagement, also importantly on how to take greater satisfaction in what they do and to enjoy daily tasks. The employees learnt to differentiate between engagement, motivation, happiness, satisfaction, and its impact on the performance of the bank. Additionally, they understood how to accumulate a positive return of investment through return on participation as well as on ways to improve leadership styles for increased engagement among employees to achieve better results. The staff completed the 30, 60, 90, 120 day action plan that helped participants understand where they need to focus on in order to advance the level of engagement.
The workshop was developed by leading facilitator and certified master consultant of the BEE suite of workshops – Paul Rigby, the renowned author of ‘The Success Formula & the Bee Book’ - a story about change, innovation, employee engagement and leadership. A regular keynote presenter and facilitator at global industry conferences, he has traveled to over 50 countries delivering keynote addresses and interactive workshops to large multinationals, government organizations, SMEs, business schools and non-profit organizations.
‘Bee Engaged’ is part of the one-year sponsorship partnership that Burgan Bank has forged with Vigor Event to introduce valuable new insights and raise the bar of excellence across the board.
