Burgan Bank’s new core banking system to roll out during 5-7 May 2016

Burgan Bank, Kuwait’s second largest commercial bank by assets, announced today that it will be upgrading its current banking system to a new banking platform in order to better serve its clients. The system upgrade will occur over the period of Thursday May 5^th to Saturday May 7^th.

Customers might face system interruptions in banking services on Thursday 5^th, Friday 6^th, and Saturday 7^thof May 2016 due to the migration to the new system. In addition, all branches will be closed on the evening of Wednesday 4^th of May. The Airport Branch will be fully closed on Thursday 5^th and Friday 6^th May and will reopen on Saturday 7^th May for customers.

Burgan Bank extends its appreciation to all customers for their patience and continuous support especially during the implementation period of the new system.
