Bank Sarasin-Alpen wins the Arabia CSR Award for a second year in a row

Bank Sarasin-Alpen (ME) Limited, Dubai was the winner of the Arabia CSR Award 2012 in the small organisation category at an awards ceremony held at the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, Dubai on 24th October, 2012. Bank Sarasin-Alpen has the honour of being the only private bank to be recognized by the Arabia CSR awards since it was launched five years ago. This is the second year Bank Sarasin-Alpen has been recognised with the prestigious Arabia CSR Awards.
Bank Sarasin-Alpen undertakes several activities in the area of sustainability and corporate social responsibility. It has partnered with organisations such as Dubai Cares, UNICEF and Emirates Environmental Group to support initiatives in the areas of children’s education and environmental conservation. Bank Sarasin-Alpen involves staff in its CSR plan and encourages them to take part in the various community related activities.

The Arabia CSR Awards were launched in 2008 and are organized under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President, Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman and CEO, Emirates Group, Chairman, Dubai Airports. The awards recognize and honour organizations in the Arab region that demonstrate outstanding leadership and commitment in corporate sustainability. Arabia CSR Awards is the only awards framework that is supported by the UNGC (United Nations Global Compact). This year marks the fifth cycle of the Arabia CSR Awards.
