Bahrain’s Capital Club celebrates second anniversary

More than 350 Members and guests of Capital Club, Bahrain’s premier private business club, gathered together on the upper-most floors of the iconic Bahrain Financial Harbour to celebrate the club’s second anniversary, recently. 

The spectacular evening commenced with Talal Al Zain, CEO of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Co. and Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Capital Club welcoming a distinguished list of VIP guests, governors, Members and their guests who enjoyed the unforgettable evening of sophistication and celebration. 

During the event, Bill Loveday, Capital Club General Manager Bahrain, announced the opening of a new tapas restaurant on level 51 of the Capital Club and gave a brief report updating Members and guests on the successful progress the Club has made since its inception.  Over the past year, the Club had organized several events for its Members and guests, as part of its series of business-oriented programs that facilitate networking for its members and a number of events that help augment professional development and support society, women, cultural heritage and local and international art.

Mr Loveday highlighted how the Club has become a preferred venue for hosting high-profile events. The Club had grown to 896 members, a 25% increase in membership numbers when compared to the previous year. 

The evening featured music and dance, a lavish reception and raffles, with prizes including return tickets by Gulf Air and Cathay Pacific and Delta Airlines. The Anniversary celebrations were generously sponsored by Alturki Group, KPMG, Mumtalakat, HSBC, McLaren Automotive, Investcorp, Global Brands International, dwp and Bluefish Concierge. The raffle prize sponsors were Kempinski Hotel, World Travel Service, Royal Golf Club, DM Gallery, Coral Bowling and Water Sports Centre, Berkeley, BIC, Bushido, Saks Fifth Avenue and The Royal Automobile Club.
