Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

Bab Al Qasr Hotel & Residences will kick off the most awaited time of the year with their annual Christmas Tree-lighting ceremony. The service will be held in the hotel Lobby on 5 December from 18:30 onwards, with festive food and beverages to follow. To elevate the spirits of the congregation, a children’s choir will be on hand partaking in joyous Christmas caroling, taking the festivities up a notch. The Christmas Tree lighting is a symbol of the beginning of the holiday season and all are invited to join in the cheery fiesta. Starting 6 December, this winter wonderland will also display a merry assortment of Christmas-themed foods and treats, all available for purchase.

Guests who wish to enjoy a Christmas dinner but without the hassle of doing it themselves, Bab Al Qasr Hotel & Residences offers guests a delicious free range roasted Turkey with a variety of condiments and trimmings.  The Turkey Box will be available in both 5-6 kgs and 7-9 kgs are priced at AED 600 and AED 800 respectively, and serves unto 12 persons. The offer is available from 6 December onwards with bookings required to be made 48 hours in advance.

Traditional Christmas Fair

Christmas is not complete without a visit to a traditional Christmas Fair, disguised as a magical winter wonderland. Surprise the kids with an evening of fun and games at Bab Al Qasr Hotel & Residences' festive extravaganza which sees the likes of stalls featuring themed decorations, signature Christmas trinkets and food. A multitude of activities and games have also been set up for fair-goers of all age groups. Bab Al Qasr Hotel & Residences’ Christmas Fair will operate on 14-15 December and 21-22 December, at the hotel’s picturesque gardens. Entrance is free.

Pre-Christmas Festivities

Limo Restaurant is switching its festive spirits into high gear. From 6 December, join the Christmas Countdown with the South American restaurant, as it serves up a special Christmas-themed Peruvian classic daily, right until Christmas Day on 25 December. Limo Bar will join the movement serving up a Christmas beverage for the same.

Christmas Eve (24 December 2018)

Celebrate Christmas Eve in all its authenticity at Artisan Kitchen’s sumptuous dinner buffet. The restaurant will transform into a sensational Christmas-themed paradise that reveals a culinary haven featuring carving and live stations, and a sensational Christmas turkey. Come join the charming celebrations where the night will also present live entertainment. Rates start at AED 215 with soft beverages, and AED 300 inclusive of alcoholic beverages.

The evening also presents guests with the unique opportunity to indulge in the most exquisite dining experience at Limo Restaurant. Marvel at a special set menu that fusions Peruvian cuisine with Latin American flavours and a variety of textures that make for a pleasant surprise. Rates start at AED 250 with soft beverages, and AED 350 inclusive of alcoholic beverages. Limo Bar will also be serving up innovative bite-sized Christmas delights, enhanced by live entertainment throughout the evening.

For patrons who enjoy early morning pleasantries, indulge in the exquisite Christmas Afternoon Tea served in Morjana, accompanied by a Children’s Choir. Rates start at AED 95 per person. The Afternoon Tea is available daily, from 3pm to 6pm.

Christmas Day (25 December 2018) 

Christmas Celebrations will be in full swing on the 25^th December from 7am to 10pm. Guests can sample different dishes at the various dine in venues within the hotel.

Prepare for a wholesome and sensory experience at Bab Al Qasr Hotel & Residences’ Monumental Christmas Feast served at the hotel gardens. Artisan Kitchen takes centre stage at this world-class destination on Christmas Day, bringing the ultimate gourmet extravaganza to the capital, with an unmatched spread of international delicacies. From Christmas centrepieces on the table to crackers and Christmas theme music, the room will be filled with enormous joy. The Monumental Christmas Feast is served from 1pm to 4pm, and is priced at AED 250 inclusive of soft beverages and AED 350 inclusive of house beverages.

New Year’s Eve (31 December 2018)

Come New Year’s Eve, raise a glass to the advent of 2019 against the awe-inspiring backdrop of Bab Al Qasr Hotel & Residences’ iconic New Year Party. Celebrations begin at 7:30 pm where guests are welcomed with a drink and canapés before heading to the dinner buffet at Artisan Kitchen, or the exquisite gastronomic experience at Limo Restaurant.

Festive revellers can enjoy a night of farewells to 2018 with a wealth of tantalizing entertainment performances, and a lavish buffet spread at Artisan Kitchen. Rates start at AED 375 with soft beverages, and AED 475 inclusive of alcoholic beverages.

At Limo Restaurant, a luxuriant 6-course special themed set menu will be prepared for the night and will be inserted into the original menu. The special set menu is priced at AED 425 inclusive of soft beverages and AED 500 inclusive of wine pairing.

A special 5-course menu has been put together at the Executive Lounge, to please every palate in town, and will be served alongside live acoustic entertainment and drinks. Rates start at AED 400 with soft beverages, and AED 475 inclusive of alcoholic beverages.

The merriment continues after dinner until a glorious 3am with a bottomless flow of drinks, canapés and live entertainment. Additionally, the resident DJ will set the tone with pulsating beats and groovy tunes, sure to put the Happy in Happy New Year!

New Year’s Day (1 January 2019)

The festivities continue into New Year’s Day with a decadent new year brunch at Artisan Kitchen with live entertainment acts lined up throughout the day. The brunch is from 1pm - 4pm, and is priced at AED 275 inclusive of soft beverages, and AED 375 inclusive of alcoholic beverages.
